Urge Sleep Number To Pull Sponsorship from 'Miracle Workers'
WARNING! A new blasphemous series, “Miracle Workers,” has begun airing on Tuesday at 10:30 pm EST/9:30 pm CST with reruns airing during multiple timeslots several days of the week, including Thursday afternoon at 4:00 pm EST/3:00 pm CST on the TBS Network. The title, “Miracle Workers,” could misguide families about the content of the show. But with a TV-14 DLV rating, you can be assured this will not be appropriate for family viewing. TBS’ tagline for the program is “On the trillionth day God quit.”
This TBS produced comedy sitcom is a blasphemous spoof on God. The show depicts God (played by Steve Buscemi) as a drunken whacko who is determined to destroy the world with his new big idea to blow up Earth. His “angel” (played by Daniel Radcliffe) who works at Heaven Inc. is supposed to help answer prayers, and he decides to stop God. This show is clearly a mockery!
This disrespectful program mocking God and the Christian faith has now gone too far. TBS executives have crossed a line in misleading viewers about God and belittling the Christian faith with crude jokes and foul language. They would never air a show that defamed Muhammad in a similar fashion for fear of instant and violent reprisals.
“Miracle Workers” is another attempt to distort the truth about Christianity. We need to send a loud and clear message to advertisers that this kind of sacrilegious programming is insulting and completely unacceptable. There is strength in numbers, so forward this to everyone you know!
