Urge Pedigree to No Longer Sponsor 'Claws'
TNT continues to air the sacrilegious program "Claws" on Sunday evenings at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT and again the following hour at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT. This new “comedy-drama” goes where no other show has gone. You can be assured with a MA - LSV rating, it is not appropriate for television. Shows like this used to be only on premium channels. “Claws” was originally created for HBO as a half-hour comedy, but TNT redeveloped it to an hour-long program.
 
“Claws” has an extremely raunchy plot like none we have ever seen including profanity and filthy language, and some of the most explicit sexual content and graphic violence we have seen on basic cable. Also an abortion was performed in one of the most recent episodes.
 
Once again networks like TNT portray a false image of religion. "Claws" is another attempt to distort the truth about people's faith.

As a parent and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am greatly disappointed in Pedigree's decision to sponsor TNT’s program “Claws.”

The content of this unbelievable program included using foul language, abortion, laundering drug money, raw sex that surpasses soft porn, violence with men punching women and women involved in fighting one another, strippers, nudity, casual sex, and murder.

“Claws” is twisted and warped entertainment that I am sure you do not want your company associated with. I certainly hope your company's financial support of this type of television programming with advertising dollars is simply an oversight.

As a consumer, I am asking you to please pull your sponsorship before next week’s episode. My decision to support your company depends on it.

Please let me know that you have ordered your advertising off “Claws” since it is harming children by encouraging destructive behavior and exposing them to graphic sexual content.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding my concern.
