Urge La-Z-Boy to No Longer Sponsor 'Younger'

Keep up the great work! Icy Hot, the sponsor One Million Moms previously contacted, is no longer supporting the program "Younger." Their ads were not present during the last two episodes.

TV Land continues to air the vile program "Younger" on Wednesday evenings at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT, but the previews air much earlier in the evening when children are likely watching TV. The vulgar advertisements for "Younger" are airing during shows such as the "Andy Griffith Show" and other family-friendly programs. The previews alone are disgusting. If the promos are this bad, then obviously the show is not suitable for TV.

It is almost impossible to describe the depth of depravity found in the TV Land sitcom "Younger." Every scene is filled with sexual innuendos, implications, or encounters. It is impossible to list all the examples of inappropriate content from this TV-14 rated show.

As a parent and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I strongly encourage La-Z-Boy to drop all plans of financially supporting the inappropriate TV Land program "Younger" that airs on Wednesday evenings at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT, and with previews that air much earlier in the evening when children are likely watching TV.

I am appalled that your company is sponsoring a show that displays casual sex as normal and acceptable behavior and showcases vulgar and crude behavior in a positive light. TV Land's "Younger" is attempting to desensitize our society.

Recently, the program has glamorized public nudity, graphic bedroom scenes, drug use, foul language, and excessive alcohol consumption.

While your company is a household name, I do not agree with your financial backing of this TV-14 rated program. This show is extremely offensive and sexually charged.

As a consumer, I am asking La-Z-Boy to please pull ads immediately and to support family friendly programming instead. My decision to support your company depends on it.
