One Last Attempt for Black Jesus

One Last Attempt for Black Jesus

In our most recent campaign concerning the program "Black Jesus," none of the sponsors 1MM contacted returned for either airing of the most recent episode. Alcohol, drug use and over 40 profanities were included in this episode.

The Season finale of "Black Jesus" is scheduled for this Thursday, October 9. This is our last chance to contact sponsors before The Cartoon Network will decide to renew the program or not.

1MM is getting the word out about this show and contacting advertisers, and progress is apparent. The dwindling number of sponsors shows few companies want to be associated with this program.

Contact the company who sponsored TBS's anti-Christian "Black Jesus." Custom Ink was the major advertiser who paid corporate dollars to promote products in association with the content of the program.

Let this company know that their advertising dollars are supporting bigotry and animosity toward people of faith. We've got an email ready for you!

I am highly disappointed to learn from One Million Moms that your company sponsors "Black Jesus" on the Cartoon Network.

The program portrays Jesus as a profane, pot-smoking, alcohol-drinking character and mocks the Christian faith. Other elements of the program continuously include God's name in vain, the f-word and the s-word, along with violence, gunfire, drugs and other inappropriate incidents which completely misrepresent Jesus.

I certainly hope your company's financial support of this type of television programming with advertising dollars is simply an oversight.

Please let me know that you have ordered your advertising off "Black Jesus" and all programs that make a mockery of the Christian faith.
