Last Chance to Make an Impact on 'Dating N-ked'

Keep up the great work! Each week, more advertisers are dropping off "Dating N-ked."  In fact, Trivago did NOT appear on this week's broadcast, after hearing from 1MM members this past week.

Imagine the worst, most inappropriate, adult-oriented program on television that you can think of. Imagine it is being marketed and promoted to teens. VH1 has rated the content of the program, "Dating N-ked," appropriate for children as young as 14-years-old! It is imperative that parents be warned about "Dating N-ked," a program targeted directly to our youth with a TV-14 rating airing Wednesday evenings at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT on VH1. (A dash '-' is used to bypass internet filters.)

The content is so provocative that the trashy reality dating show doesn't stop with n-dity, but also includes graphic dialogue. These strangers go out on dates while drinking and discussing s-x and their private parts for the duration of the hour long program.

VH1 should be ashamed to air n-dity and then call it entertainment. Even though the frontal body parts are blurred out, showing so much skin leaves nothing to the imagination and is soft p-rn.

This horrendous show, packed full of extremely graphic content, has been extensively marketed to teens. The irresponsible behavior aired on this program from meaningless dialogue about s-x to topics about body parts is outrageous!

This program is dangerous to our children's wellbeing, and 1MM is shocked that any company would be willing to sponsor or be associated with this show. VH1 has to know that if they bring back "Dating N-ked" for another season, they will do so with zero advertiser support!

Mr. Jonathan Muhtar,

As a parent and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am deeply disappointed to learn Red Robin has sponsored multiple episodes of VH1’s “Dating Naked” on Wednesday evenings at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT.

VH1 should be ashamed to air nudity and call it entertainment. Even though the frontal body parts are blurred out, showing so much skin leaves nothing to the imagination and is soft porn.

The basis of the program is inappropriate and the dialogue is extremely offensive, plus it portrays content that your company would probably not desire to be associated with.

I certainly hope your company's financial support of this type of television programming through advertising is simply an oversight.

As a consumer, I am asking you to stop your company’s advertising support of “Dating Naked.” My decision to support your company depends on it.

Please let me know that you have ordered your advertising off “Dating Naked” since it is harming children by encouraging inappropriate behavior and exposing them to graphic sexual content.
