TNT's new summer program, "Claws," has an extremely raunchy plot like none we have ever seen. The second episode included an astounding 50 instances of profanity and filthy language, and some of the most explicit sexual content and graphic violence we have seen on basic cable.

This new "comedy-drama" goes where no other show has gone. You can be assured with a MA – LS rating, it is not appropriate for television. Shows like this used to be on premium channels – "Claws" was originally created for HBO as a half-hour comedy − but TNT redeveloped it to an hour-long program.

This destructive and dangerous program includes content such as:

  • Use of the Lord’s name in vain multiple times
  • Launder drug money
  • Prostitution ring discussed in front of Girl Scout troop
  • Raw sex that surpasses soft porn
  • Violence with men punching women and women involved in fighting one another
  • Strip club
  • Strippers on pole at funeral in front of priest
  • Nudity
  • Homosexual and lesbian oral sex
  • Murder
  • Casual sex, sometimes with multiple partners
  • Dark program where Christianity is blasphemed

As a parent and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am greatly disappointed in Taco Bell's (Yum! Brands) decision to sponsor TNT's new summer program "Claws."

The content of this unbelievable program included using the Lord's name in vain, laundering drug money, raw sex that surpasses soft porn, violence with men punching women and women involved in fighting one another, strippers, nudity, casual sex, and murder.

"Claws" is twisted and warped entertainment that I am sure you do not want your company associated with. I certainly hope your company's financial support of this type of television programming with advertising dollars is simply an oversight.

As a consumer, I am asking you to please pull your sponsorship before next week's episode. My decision to support your company depends on it.

Please let me know that you have ordered your advertising off "Claws" since it is harming children by encouraging destructive behavior and exposing them to graphic sexual content.
